BEAM College Support

College Start is a program where BEAM supports you as a high school senior, and later college freshman. We help you apply to college, break down financial aid, choose your major, find belonging on campus, manage your time wisely and more. Everyone is eligible! Starting college can be tough - BEAM wants to make sure your transition to college starts off strong and that you stay connected to the BEAM community.

STEM Support is a program for upperclassmen who are majoring in a few selected STEM disciplines. We help you navigate planning prerequisites and coursework for your major, pursuing research, securing internships, and nailing down post-graduate plans. Not sure if your major is eligible? BEAM wants to make it easier to take STEM classes, where costs for textbooks, calculators, and lab fees can add up. If you send us your receipts for STEM-related costs we can reimburse you! This money is available to all college students who complete our annual survey.
